After last night’s (fantastic and successful) launch of the 11th issue of Her Royal Majesty, they have kindly published my series “Etudes (trois repas américains)” on their website and blog! Here’s a screen shot of the front page, but click on this link here to see the series!

Exhibition: V U E for FotoweekDC 2011 at Science Club

I’m very happy to announce that I will taking part in a group exhibition curated by an incredibly talented and amazing friend, Laila Jadallah! My photos will be shown along side work by more amazing and talented friends such as Rossana Mendes Fonseca, Dominic Hatcher, Brianna Hughes, Deepshikha Jain, and Valeria Castillo Mendoza!

Chez Onze aims to create whimsical and thought provoking exhibitions to promote photography and photographers. Founder, Laila Abdul-Hadi Jadallah is an independent curator and photographer living in Washington D.C. A recent graduate of SPEOS Photographic Institute in Paris, she has curated a number of local exhibitions including: The Breadth and Beauty of Photography, Peter Karp: Mostly Grey and Le Graffiti Parisian a Washington for the inaugural Art All Night DC.

V U E is an eclectic exhibit that captures life through the wandering eyes and minds of an international collective of photographers. Photographers from Canada, England, India, Mexico, Portugal, and the U.S. come together to explore elements of space, nature, and time captured through a variety of photographic styles and traditions. From questioning the relationship between human and location, to examining the human body in animal form and contemplating the fictitious and realistic qualities of the photographic process, these eight photographers have traveled the world in search of answers to all questions, big and small.

Events: Nikolai Grozni at Shakespeare and Company

On September 12th, Shakespeare and Company bookshop hosted the launch of Nikolai Grozni’s new book, “Wunderkind”. The reading was followed by music by New Zealand singer/songwriter, Flip Grater.

Events: Standing Room hosted by Shakespeare and Company at Le Trianon

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph Standing Room, a night of spoken and sung word with Piers Faccini and Francesca Beard. The event was hosted by Shakespeare and Company bookshop and was held at the beautiful Le Trianon in Montmartre.

Exhibition – Nature Morte continues

My exhibition at Kooka Boora Cafe is up until September 13th! If you’re in town, stop by and take a look at my photos while enjoying your coffee! There will be a “finissage” or a “closing night” party on the 13th of September starting at 8pm.

To answer some questions – All photos are available to purchase. For each image, there will be a limited run of 7 signed and numbered prints made. If you have any other questions or would like to purchase one, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Events: Frog Fight #11

Tuesday was the 11th installment of France’s first friendly barista competition – Frog Fight! It took place this time around at Alto Café at the infamous Moulin Rouge. Good times were had and a lot of pretty rosettas were poured by Paris’ best baristas! One of the founders, Thomas Lehoux, won first place followed by Kevin from Coutume Café who won second! Congrats guys!
